Pakistan Railways Jobs 2025: Sub Engineers, AutoCAD Experts, GIS Experts & Project Monitoring Officers Wanted

Pakistan Railways is offering exciting career opportunities for highly qualified professionals in 2025. The government-owned organization is looking to fill multiple positions within its "Acquisition of Land for Rail Connectivity with Afghanistan" project. This project focuses on the development of the Kohat to Kharlachi route via Thall-Parachinar, and the roles available are vital to its success.

Available Positions:

1. Project Monitoring Officer

• PPS: 08
• Qualifications: BSc/BE Civil Engineering (4 years), PEC registered.
• Experience: Minimum 08 years in Project Management or Civil Works.
• Age Limit: 30 years (with 5 years relaxation).

2. GIS Expert

• PPS: 07
• Qualifications: BSc/BS in Remote Sensing & GIS (4 years), HEC recognized.
• Experience: 05 years in GIS/Remote Sensing with expertise in ArcGIS, QGIS, Civil 3D.
• Age Limit: 30 years (with 5 years relaxation).
• AutoCAD Expert

3. PPS: 07

• Qualifications: DAE (Civil Engineering, 3 years).
• Experience: 07 years in AutoCAD, preferably with Railway/Government projects.
• Age Limit: 30 years (with 5 years relaxation).

4. Sub-Engineer (Civil)

• PPS: 06
• Qualifications: DAE (Civil Engineering, 3 years).
• Experience: 05 years in the relevant field, including quantity surveying and estimation.
• Age Limit: 30 years (with 5 years relaxation).

5. Assistant Sub-Engineer (Civil)

• PPS: 04
• Qualifications: DAE (Civil Engineering, 3 years).
• Experience: 02 years in the relevant field.
• Age Limit: 30 years (with 5 years relaxation).

Key Details:

• Job Type: Contract basis for one year, extendable based on performance and project needs.
• Salary: As per Finance Division’s standard Project Pay Scale (PPS).
• Location: Multiple positions across Pakistan, with postings based on project requirements.
• Age Relaxation: A 5-year relaxation is offered as per government policy.
